Lingouf ist ein französisches Projekt für elektronische Musik von Vincent Ingouf aus Saint Lambert.[1]
Vincent Ingouf ist in der Normandie in Frankreich geboren und aufgewachsen. Er begann seine künstlerisches Dasein erst mit Malen und dann später mit Animationen und Musik unter dem Namen Lingouf. Der Name basiert auf den Familiennamen Ingouf. Er arbeitet Vollzeit in einer Bibliothek und macht nebenbei Musik. Um das Jahr 2000 begann er damit, elektronische Musik zu erstellen und fing an, mit Sounds zu experimentieren. Im Jahr 2001 begann er ernsthaft damit, Musik zu komponieren. Seine Albumtitel "Internazional Fratricide", "Ecritomate", "Area Keloza" und "Ange et Gruikk" entsprechen Malereien, an denen er parallel zu den Musikalben arbeitete.[2]
Am 16. Juni 2008 mit "Area Keloza" veröffentlichte Lingouf sein erstes Album beim deutschen Label ant-zen. Vincent Ingouf wurde durch Moha-Tyb und Anth-Ybio auf das Label aufmerksam. Vincent Ingouf sendete Demos an ant-zen und weitere Labels und nur ant-zen gab eine Antwort.[2] Am 15. Mai 2010 trat Lingouf bei der Versus Party 11 in Düsseldorf auf. Der Auftritt wurde von Lingouf als MP3 veröffentlicht.[3] Im November 2010 trat Lingouf beim Maschinenfest in der Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen auf. Bei drei Titeln des Albums "Œuvre Au Noir" vom 4. November 2015 war Obsachala beteiligt.[4]
