God Module (von Fans kurz God Mod genannt) ist eine US-amerikanische Musikprojekt (Electro, Gothic, Industrial) von Jasyn Bangert aus Seattle.[1] Bei Liveauftritten wird er von Andrew Pearson unterstützt.[2] Der Name "God Module" wird in der 20. Episode der 5. Staffel der Fernsehserie "Akte X – Die unheimlichen Fälle des FBI" verwendet.[3]

Geschichte

God Module wurde 1997 in Orlando im US-Bundesstaat Florida von Jasyn Bangert (Gesang, Synthesizer, Programming) und Andrew Ramirez (Gesang, Synthesizer, Programming) gegründet.[4] Das Debütalbum "Artificial" wurde 1999 veröffentlicht.[5] Im Juni 2003 spielte God Module beim Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig. Weitere Auftritte waren dort im Juni 2006, Juni 2014 und Mai 2018. Am 23. August 2003 trat God Module beim Infest Festival in England auf.
