But for a career like ours it’s important to do certain records and songs where you try something else."[5]

Während der Aufnahmesessions sei es darum gegangen, die Linien zwischen Harmonien und Rhythmen verschwimmen zu lassen um einen "vermengteren" Sound zu erreichen. Mackintosh beschrieb die Aufnahmen als interessanter und konstruktiver als zuvor. Maximum Plague

Der Mai-Ausgabe des deutschen Metal Hammer lag eine CD names Maximum Plague bei, auf der zwei neue Stücke sowie Live-Versionen älterer Titel enthalten waren. Diese wurden aufgenommen während des Konzerts zum 25. Jubiläum der Band im Londoner Roundhouse.[6]
