A Pale Horse Named Death ist eine US-amerikanische Gothic-Metal- und Doom-Metal-Band aus Brooklyn, New York City. Einflüsse kommen auch aus dem Stoner Rock und Grunge.[1] Bandgründer, Gitarrist und Sänger ist Sal Abruscato, der früher als Schlagzeuger bei den US-amerikanischen Rock-/Metal-Bands Type O Negative (auch Mitbegründer) und Life of Agony tätig war.

Geschichte

Die Band wurde am 1. Januar 2009[2] von Sal Abruscato gegründet, gemeinsam mit Matt Brown (Seventh Void). Gemeinsam übernahmen sie auch die Produktion des Debütalbums And Hell Will Follow Me, das im Juni des Jahres 2010 erschien, zunächst nur in den USA ohne Label.
