Avatar Country ist das siebte Studioalbum der schwedischen Metalband Avatar. Das Konzeptalbum[2] wurde am 12. Januar 2018 über Century Media Records / eOne (Entertainment One) veröffentlicht. Vorab wurden die Singles "A Statue of the King" und "The King Wants You" veröffentlicht. Produzent war Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Steel Panther).[3] Die Aufnahmen wurden im Sommer 2017 in den Spinroad Recording Studios in Göteborg durchgeführt.[4]
Charts
In Europa erreichte das Album Platz 87 in der Schweiz, Platz 90 (Flandern) und Platz 161 (Wallonien) in Belgien und Platz 181 in Frankreich.[5] In den US-amerikanischen Billboard 200 erreichte es Platz 132[6] und in den US-amerikanischen Independent Album Charts Platz 2.[7]
