Das Projekt wurde im August 2010 als Seitenprojekt der Musikproduzentin Ophelia The Suffering gegründet.<ref>[http://www.musique.com/artist/Ecstasphere Ecstasphere | Musique]</ref> Das [[Debütalbum]] "Feed Your Head" erschien am 7. April 2014 beim 2003 gegründeten deutschen Label RAUMKLANG MUSIC aus Rottenburg. Am 25. Januar 2015 erschien "Klangporträts I+II" von Ecstasphere & Aphexia. Im März 2015 trat Ecstasphere beim [[Elektroanschlag]] Festival in [[Altenburg]] auf. Am 12. Oktober 2015 folgte das zweite Album "Carnival Of Catharsis" bei RAUMKLANG MUSIC. Im März 2016 spielte Ecstasphere bei Katharsis IV im Fundbureau in Hamburg. Ecstasphere ist mit "Dissolved Girl" der Starttitel der [[Kompilation (Musik)|Kompilation]] "Katharsis Compilation 1.0". Ecstasphere ist mit einem Titel am Album "Heteronomie [Optimierte Gegenwart: The Remixes]" von [[Phasenmensch]] beteiligt, welches am 13. Mai 2016 über [[Hands Productions]] veröffentlicht wurde. Am 16. Oktober 2016 trat Ecstasphere beim [[Maschinenfest]] in der Turbinenhalle in [[Oberhausen]] auf.
