Crowd Supply, Inc. ist eine US-amerikanische Crowdfunding-Internetplattform aus Portland, Oregon. Crowd Supply wurde 2012[1] von Lou Doctor gegründet.[2]
Im Unterschied zu Crowdfunding-Internetplattformen wie "Kickstarter" und "Indiegogo" bietet "Crowd Supply" nach dem Ende einer Kampagne weitere Dienstleistungen wie Verwaltung der Vorbestellungen, Lagerwesen und Abwicklung an. Nachdem alle Vorbestellungen erledigt sind, wird aus der Kampagnenseite eine Handelsplattform.[2] Lou Doctor machte einen Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering am Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Er gründete bereits zehn Technologie- und E-Commerce-Unternehmen[3] und besitzt und betreibt ein Netzwerk von E-Commerce-Plattformen wie GolfClubs.com, Billiards.com und Velotech.com.[2]
