Beans On Toast (Jay[1]) (* 1. Dezember) ist ein britischer Folk-Singer-Songwriter aus Essex.

Beans On Toast veröffentlicht seine Alben bisher bei dem Musiklabel Xtra Mile Recordings. Im Jahr 2009 ist das Doppel-CD-Album Standing On A Chair erschienen, seitdem ist bisher jedes Jahr ein Album erschienen. Am 1. Dezember 2013 erschien das 5. Album Giving Everything, welches wie üblich an seinem Geburtstag veröffentlicht worden ist. Das Album wurde von Mike Freear (Slamboree) produziert. Die Launchparty fand in Battersea statt.[2]

Der britische Musiker Frank Turner produzierte eines seiner Alben.[1] Das Album Live At The Scala wurde 2012 bei seiner Show in Kings Cross aufgenommen und stand zwischendurch auf der Labelpage kostenlos zum Download zur Verfügung.

Seit Semptember 2013 ist Beans On Toast auf seiner bisher größten UK Tour über 33 Shows unterwegs.[3] Die Tour geht bis Februar 2014.[4] Beans On Toast spielt regelmäßig auf dem Glastonbury Festival.[5]
