Die Bandmitglieder kennen sich seit 2011. Vanja Vukelic war 2005 Mitgründerin der Schweizer Band Neckless, wo sie Bass spielt. Mama Jefferson begannen direkt mit dem Songwriting und testeten im Sommer 2016 die Songs live. Im Oktober 2016 nahmen sie fünf Songs im Studio auf. Die erste Singleauskopplung der Debüt-[[Extended Play|EP]] war der Song "Liquor Liquor".
