Typhoid (Musikprojekt)

Typhoid ist ein italienisches Projekt für elektronische Musik von Maurizio Landini aus Ancona.[1]

Im Jahr 2000 veröffentlichte Typhoid die EP "The Seclusion EP" beim Dortmunder Label Hands Productions. Im Oktober 2001 folgte darüber auch das Debütalbum "Destinazione Magnetica". Das deutsche EBM-Musikprojekt S.I.N.A war mit einem Remix an dem Album beteiligt. Ebenfalls im Oktober 2001 trat Typhoid beim Maschinenfest in Aachen auf. Am 2. Oktober 2008 gab es nach vielen Jahren mit drei Titeln auf dem Sampler "2009 HANDS" neue Veröffentlichungen von Typhoid.[2] 2010 folgte das zweite Album "Simulazione Di Divinità" erneut über Hands Productions.

Maurizio Landini ist auch als Abiura Fatima, Acamot, Biped, H.P.P., Modron und ScarWeld aktiv. Mit Gabriele Santamaria war er als I Burn aktiv. Von 1998 bis 2002 veröffentlichte I Burn fünf Alben.[3]
