Bandgeschichte

Die Band wurde im Jahr 2009[1] von Ralph Pelleymounter, Ian Dudfield und Josh Platman unter dem Namen Kid iD gegründet. Nachdem der Schlagzeuger Jon Willoughby und der Keyboarder Ben Jackson zur Band hinzukamen, benannte sich diese nach To Kill A King um.[2]

Das Debütalbum "Cannibals With Cutlery" erschien am 24. Februar 2013.[3] Die Band spielte am 23. August 2013 beim Reading and Leeds Festival.[4] Nach erfolgreichen Festivalauftritten wechselte die Band zu Xtra Mile Recordings. Im September 2013 ersetzten Grant McNeill und Joshua Taffel die alten Gitarristen und Schlagzeuger.[2] Ebenfalls im September 2013 trat die Band beim Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg auf.[5] Xtra Mile Recordings hat das Debütalbum mit Zusatztracks am 11.
