Leben

Sam Smith ist als Sohn einer Bankerin am 19. Mai 1992 geboren.[1] Er ist in Great Chishill, Grafschaft Cambridgeshire aufgewachsen[2] und ging in Bishop’s Stortford, Grafschaft Hertfordshire zur Schule.[3] Smith studierte am Youth Music Theatre und spielte in deren Produktion "Oh! Carol" mit.[4]

Im Jahr 2012 war Sam Smith an der Single "Latch" mit dem britischen Dancepopduo Disclosure beteiligt. 2013 folgten seine Solo-EP "Nirvana", die Single "La La La" mit Naughty Boy und die 7" "Lay Me Down".
