LibreOffice Online (LOOL) ist die in der Entwicklung befindliche Office-Webanwendung der The Document Foundation (TDF). Sie soll ab 2016 online für alle Plattformen mit Browsern, die JavaScript und HTML5 unterstützen, zur Verfügung stehen.

LibreOffice Online wird von TDF mit dem US-amerikanischen Softwareunternehmen IceWarp und dem britischen Unternehmen Collabora entwickelt. Die Entwicklung wird von Collabora geleitet.[1] Die Entwicklung startete im Jahr 2011, als Michael Meeks ein Proof of Concept entwickelte.[2] Die erste öffentliche Version ist für 2016 geplant. Als Server wird zunächst GNU/Linux unterstützt. Der Weblient benötigt JavaScript und HTML5.[3]

August 2015 veröffentlicht.[6] Im Juni 2016 gaben Collabora und ownCloud bekannt, das LibreOffice Online in ownCloud Enterprise als Collabora Online for ownCloud Enterprise zur Verfügung steht.[7] Das für den 1. Februar 2017[8] angekündigte LibreOffice 5.3 ist die erste Ausgangsversion von LibreOffice Online.[9]
