Honor (Marke)
Huawei Honor ist eine Marke des 1987[1] gegründeten chinesischen Technologieunternehmens Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Präsident ist Jeff Liu. Unter der Marke werden Smartphones und Tablets hergestellt und verkauft.
Geschichte
Im Dezember 2011 wurde das "Huawei U8860 Honor" veröffentlicht.[2] Knapp 1 Jahr später wurde im November 2012 das Huawei Honor 2 veröffentlicht.[3] Im August 2013 folgte mit Huawei Honor 3 das erste Modell der 3er Serie.[4] Im Juni 2014 wurde das Honor 6 vorgestellt und im August 2014 dann veröffentlicht.[5][6] Ebenfalls Im September 2014 wurde das "Huawei Honor 4 Play" veröffentlicht.[7] Im Oktober 2014 folgte das "Huawei Honor Holly".[8]
Ende Oktober 2014 lief zur Einführung der Marke in den europäischen Markt eine Pressekonferenz in Berlin.[9] Das Huawei Honor 6 für Europa unterstützt nur eine SIM-Karte, das Modell für China unterstützt hingegen Dual-SIM.[10]
Eine andere Smartphone-Modellreihe von Huawei ist Huawei Ascend.
